Billy, Ryan & Tory in STUDIO 1954

Last night our performance in 1954 went great! The music didn't skip, but some of our stunts may have. Check out the performance below!

Sound check, please.

Last night as you know was opening night for Studio 1954. Running extremely late, Ryan, Tory and I showed up about ten minutes before curtain. We quickly threw ourselves through our stunts and got to places. The three of us were squeezed backstage with about eight other girls and a wardrobe chick while we listened for our cue. "Alright, we've got a pack of live acrobats going on in 60 seconds, places everybody!" Our music starts and plays for about eight counts when all of a sudden the music skips, shuts off, then the music from the first scene began playing, then that stopped and ours started again!!! Umm?! We continued on with our routine as we should, music or not. We hit every move and we looked great! Maybe tonight the sound guy will have his shit in order.

Opening Night

I cannot believe that it is already may 9th! It feels as if new years eve was just yesterday!

Tonight is opening night for the production of Studio 1954. Over the last few weeks, I have struggled with time management to put together my piece for the show. Not only did i struggle with time, but I also was challenged with casting my act. Without being able to gain a few professional acrobats to perform with me, I figured I'd just make them myself. Ryan, and his best friend, Tory were quickly appointed as they are both extremely talented actors and dancers. We put together a total of about 6 routines before we have finally settled on the one we will perform tonight. I'm going to try to get it on video. Check back soon for that.

Rent-a-Baby

For about the last two months, hours of my days have been spent sifting threw countless craigslist postings in search of the perfect LA apartment. I would stay where I'm at now, if the building had parking! I have found tons of apartments that would be absolutely wonderful to lease, but where the hell are all the parking spaces? you can't possibly tell me that everyone in los angeles parks their cars on the street. I've been looking closer to the beach, as well as around the area that I'm in now. we'll see, keep your fingers crossed for me.

As for Studio 1954, hopefully the folks in my act will have a chance to practice soon! The entire piece is still at the drawing broad, but the show is coming up faster then i can handle! We're going to be doing a partner acrobatic ice-cream parlor scene, with hopefully some sort of a ice cream fight -- should be fun! now we just have to start working on it????? cripes.

VALERIE BERNAL announced today that she is PREGNANT! CONGRATULATIONS VAL! Love you.

oh, were you looking for this?

Greetings Earthings. I am back to take over your brain with mindless blogs about my life in LA. After a short hiatus, I am happy to be writing today. Not too much has changed since we last spoke; the standard is still the low part of my life. i'm very tired of waiting on people and i am ready to try new things. Last week, my friend Samantha and I went and registered for an agency that books extras in tv, film, and commercials in los angeles. i'll be sure to let you know if anything neat comes up. I am still teaching gymnastics at the gym. I am also coach of the cheer program that the gym offers. It's nice to be doing things again that i enjoyed doing so much when i was in new jersey. Coming up May 9 & 10 and 16 & 17, i am performing a partner acrobatics piece for Artists on the Brink, it's making me stress! Allllso, my lease is up on April 30. That means it's time to move again! Staying in Los Angeles, of course, i plan on doing month to month until i find the perfect place for me. ryan and i are cooking dinner and it's almost done. i made the garlic bread. :op i'll update you more about the upcoming show soon. stay tuned....

Looking for work

Lately I've really been hating what I've been doing and have been looking for new work. Gymnastics is still cool, it may be time to ask for a raise though. But as for waiting tables -- i'm over it. Within the last week I have pursued becoming a secret shopper, a reality tv star, a circus performer and a janitor. I really need to find something new soon. Anybody hiring? Just kidding about the janitor thing, and no offense if you're a janitor and reading this.... cause I know only janitor's read this.
